From a LinkedIn hiring post to an email in your drafts

Founders, hiring managers, HR and recruiters post openings on LinkedIn every day, often with an address to write to. Send Jobreach the post, and the email to that address, with a resume made for the job, is waiting in your Gmail drafts a few minutes later.

Four ways to send a post

  • The Chrome extension. An Add to Jobreach button appears on LinkedIn hiring posts that fit your profile, in Chrome, Edge or Brave on a computer. One click sends the post. It isn't in the Chrome Web Store yet: you download it from Jobreach and load it once.
  • The post's link. Paste it on Add a post. Jobreach reads that one post from the public page LinkedIn shows to people who aren't signed in.
  • Telegram or WhatsApp. Link the Jobreach bot and forward a post's text, or several LinkedIn links at once, from your phone. It replies when the email is ready.
  • The text itself. Copy the post and paste it on Add a post.

Not sure where to find hiring posts? Jobreach's Prompts page gives you LinkedIn searches for your kinds of role, ready to copy.

What happens to the post

  1. It is read and screened

The role, the years asked for, the skills, the place, and how to apply. Posts asking you for money are dropped; a recruiter hiring for a client is flagged.
  2. The company is checked

Its domain, mail server and homepage.
  3. The address is chosen

The one in the post first, whoever wrote it, then a hiring address on the company's site. Never a guessed one (why guessed addresses hurt).
  4. Your resume is fitted to it

The projects and lines that answer the post move up, on one page.
  5. The email is drafted in your Gmail

Three short paragraphs, every claim from your own record. How the drafts work.

A post that doesn't suit you (wrong place, years or kind of role) is told apart on Add a post with the reason, and you can prepare it anyway.

What Jobreach never does on LinkedIn

  • Log in to LinkedIn, or use your LinkedIn account.
  • Browse LinkedIn for you, or send messages there.
  • Send anything from the extension except a post you pressed Add to Jobreach on. What it sees on LinkedIn stays in your browser.
