For students and freshers

Internships and first jobs at startups are often filled by people who write to the founder or the team directly, while the post is fresh. Jobreach finds those openings, checks they fit you, and writes that email with a resume built around your projects. You press Send.

Updated

If you are still studying

  • Internships come first, at or above the monthly stipend you set.
  • Batch-year and CGPA limits in a post are checked before anything is written, so you don't write to openings that rule you out.
  • Unpaid onsite internships are skipped, unless you say you want them.
  • Big tech companies are left out by default, since their internships go through campus and portals; turn that off if you like.

If you have just graduated

  • Entry-level roles asking for 0 to 1 years, matched on what your projects actually show.
  • Your projects lead the resume, since they are your strongest proof.
  • A salary floor in lakh a year instead of a monthly stipend, and the earliest date you can start.

Your projects, told truthfully

You upload your resume and add your GitHub and portfolio. Jobreach reads your public repositories and their READMEs, asks a few questions about what your resume leaves out, and builds a resume for each kind of role you want. Every line comes from what you gave it; a number it can't find in your own documents stays off the page. For each job, the projects that answer the post move to the top, and the page stays one page.

An email a founder will read

Short, in three paragraphs: who you are and which role, the project that fits it best, and why this company. It goes to the address in the post, or to a hiring address on the company's site, never to a guessed one. It waits in your Gmail drafts with the resume attached. See a full example in how to cold email a startup for an internship.

Roles it matches

Software engineering, Backend, Frontend, Full stack, Mobile, AI and ML, Computer vision, Data analytics, Data engineering, DevOps and cloud, QA and testing, Embedded, Security, Design, Product, Business, Marketing, Operations, HR and recruiting, Sales, Finance and accounts, Customer success and support.

Choose up to four. Openings come from startups' own job boards and careers pages, the Hacker News hiring threads, and any LinkedIn post or group forward you add.
