How to find jobs on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby (and are they legit?)

Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby are applicant tracking systems: software that companies pay for to post their openings and receive applications. There is no single site to search; each company has its own board, at an address like job-boards.greenhouse.io/company, jobs.lever.co/company or jobs.ashbyhq.com/company. A job there is as real as the company behind it, and a Google site: search finds them across many companies at once.

What Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby are

All three sell hiring software to companies. Lever calls itself an applicant tracking system (ATS) and recruiting CRM; Ashby calls itself an all-in-one recruiting platform; Greenhouse describes hiring software that covers sourcing, interviews and applicant tracking. A company that uses one gets a public job board where its openings are listed and where you apply.

Many startups and product companies use them, in India too. For example, on 29 October 2026 Groww’s openings were on Greenhouse, Meesho’s and CRED’s on Lever, and Atlan’s on Ashby. An opening on a company’s own board doesn’t always reach a job portal, which makes the boards a good place to look in the hidden job market.

What a real board’s address looks like

  • Greenhouse: job-boards.greenhouse.io/companyname. Older links at boards.greenhouse.io now lead there, and some boards are on job-boards.eu.greenhouse.io. A single job ends in /jobs/ and a number.
  • Lever: jobs.lever.co/companyname, and a single job adds a long code after it.
  • Ashby: jobs.ashbyhq.com/companyname, and a single job adds a long code after it.
  • Many companies also show the same board inside their own careers page, so you may apply from the company’s site and never see the address. That is normal.

The company name in the address usually matches the company’s brand. A board for a company you know, at an address that names someone else, is worth a second look.

Google’s site: word keeps the results to one website. Put the role in quotes and add a place:

site:job-boards.greenhouse.io "data analyst" (Bengaluru OR Bangalore)

site:jobs.lever.co "frontend developer" India

site:jobs.ashbyhq.com "product analyst" (India OR remote)

  • Then open Tools, and set Any time to Past week. Openings that are days old get read sooner than ones that are months old.
  • Swap in your own role and city, and try a second word for the role: “SDE” and “software engineer”, “HR” and “talent acquisition”.
  • Google doesn’t list every board, and a closed job can stay in its results for a while. If the board says the job is gone, it is gone.

How to find a company’s careers page

  1. Look on the company’s own website

Careers, Jobs, Join us or We’re hiring, usually in the menu or the footer.
  2. Or search for it

The company’s name and careers in Google. Make sure the result is on the company’s own domain or on greenhouse.io, lever.co or ashbyhq.com.
  3. Follow the Apply button

It often opens the company’s board on Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby. Bookmark the board: new openings appear there first.

Are the jobs legit?

The platforms are real, and companies pay to use them, so a job on a real company’s board is a real job. Fake job offers usually copy the look of a board at a different address, or skip the board altogether. Check these before you apply:

  • The address is on the platform’s own domain: greenhouse.io, lever.co or ashbyhq.com. An address like greenhouse-careers.example is not.
  • The company’s own website links to the board, or lists the same openings.
  • You apply through the form. Nobody asks for a fee, a deposit, your bank details or a payment for training.
  • Interviews and the offer come from the company’s own email domain, not only from a chat on Telegram or WhatsApp.

Apply on the board, then write to a person

The board is the company’s official way in, so apply there first. If the company or the hiring manager has also published an address for the role, in a LinkedIn post or on the careers page, a short email can make sure a person reads your application. Product Analyst (Bengaluru): Sana Khan, applied on your Lever board

Hi,

I’ve just applied for the Product Analyst role in Bengaluru on your Lever board. I’m a final-year B.Tech student and have spent the last six months analysing app usage for my college’s placement portal.

There I built a funnel in SQL and Metabase that showed most students dropped off at the resume upload step; the team moved that step later, and the drop-off went down.

Kitebyte’s app is the one my friends use to split bills, so I’d enjoy working on its numbers. My resume is attached, and the application is under the same name.

A made-up example: Sana and Kitebyte are fictional.

What to avoid

  • Sending the same resume to fifty boards in an afternoon. Pick the openings that fit, and make the resume answer each one.
  • Applying to a job the board says is closed, from an old search result or a forwarded link.
  • Paying anyone who says they can get your application seen on a board.
  • Ignoring the date. More places to look for fresh openings: Hacker News’s Who is hiring and hiring posts on LinkedIn.

Questions people ask

What is Greenhouse jobs?

Greenhouse is hiring software that companies use to post openings and receive applications. “Greenhouse jobs” are the openings on a company’s own Greenhouse job board, at an address like job-boards.greenhouse.io/companyname, and you apply on that board.

Is Greenhouse jobs legit?

Greenhouse is real hiring software used by real companies, so a job on a company’s Greenhouse board is as real as that company. Check that the address is on greenhouse.io itself and that the company’s own website links to the board, and never pay to apply.

How do I search Ashby for jobs?

Ashby boards sit at jobs.ashbyhq.com/companyname, one per company. To search many at once, type a Google search such as site:jobs.ashbyhq.com "product analyst" India, then set Tools to the past week for fresh ones.

Are Lever and Ashby jobs legit?

Yes, when the board belongs to a real company: Lever and Ashby are applicant tracking systems companies pay for. Make sure the address is jobs.lever.co or jobs.ashbyhq.com exactly, that the company’s site links to it, and that nobody asks you for money.

How do I find a company’s careers page?

Look for Careers, Jobs or Join us in the company website’s menu or footer, or search Google for the company’s name and “careers”. The Apply button there often leads to the company’s Greenhouse, Lever or Ashby board.
